Candle Care.
Wick Trimmin' Time Snip that wick to about 1/4 inch before each burn. It's like giving your candle a fresh start and keeping it from getting too smoky or funky.
Let It Pool The first time you light it up, be patient. Let it melt that wax to the edges for a nice, even burn every time after that. It's like setting the vibe for future hangs.
Burn Baby, Burn (But Not Too Long) Keep the burn sessions to around 3-4 hours max. Think of it like a good playlist—short, sweet, and leaving you wanting more. Long burns can lead to candle drama, and nobody's got time for that.

Set the Scene Find your candle a cozy spot away from breezy drafts and out of reach of nosy pets. Safety first, always. Plus, it'll give your space those chill vibes you're after.

Know When to Say Goodbye When you're down to about half an inch of wax, it's time to call it quits. Burning on fumes isn't cool—it can heat up the container too much. Give your candle the farewell it deserves and let it rest in peace.

FAQs.

What kind of wax do you use?
Our handmade candles use 100% natural, luxury coconut soy wax. This all-natural blend combines pure soy wax with coconut wax, eliminating paraffin. Coconut wax, derived from coconut meat, and soy wax from soybeans, are both renewable and biodegradable. This makes our coco soy wax an eco-friendly choice, free from harmful toxins and carbon neutral, unlike petroleum-based paraffin wax.

Are coconut blended waxes different than soy wax?
Yes, our coconut soy wax differs from standard soy wax. You may not see a full melt pool until the candle is halfway down the jar. Initially, some wax might remain on the sides, but as the wick burns, the heat will melt the remaining wax, ensuring a complete burn. Adding coconut wax creates a more luxurious and creamy wax vs pure soy.

Why are the tops of my candles bumpy or pitted after I burn them?
It's common for candles made with soy to have bumpy tops after burning. This occurs due to uneven cooling, which is hard to control once the candle has been lit and then extinguished. Sometimes the surface will dry smooth, like glass, while other times it will be rough and uneven. The good news is that this is a characteristic of all-natural wax and does not impact the candle's performance. It's ugly but it 100% normal. Pro tip: If your soy or natural blend candles from others brands don't have a bumpy top after burning, they likely contain some paraffin.

Does your wax contain harmful ingredients?
No, our 100% natural luxury candles are made of vegan, gluten-free, toxin-free, paraben-free, and phthalate-free wax. We also ensure our natural candle wax is Leaping Bunny certified and crafted with vegan, non-toxic, clean fragrance oils and essential oils for maximum skin safety and purity.

Why does my candle look "sweaty" or have droplets on top?
If your candle arrives a bit dewy, no worries! Natural waxes like soy can sweat when temperatures fluctuate. Just light it up, and the fragrance oil on top will blend back in, keeping the quality and scent intact. Each candle is hand-poured in small batches, so they’re all unique. We strive for consistency, but natural wax has its quirks—it can crack, sweat, shrink, or expand, especially with sudden changes in heat or humidity.
This doesn’t affect the candle’s performance at all. It’s simply a sign that our wax is completely natural.
